Last weekend was the Baby Dedication at our church. Pastor Riddle did a great job in explaining that it was more of a parent dedication. It was a public "promise" from us as parents to raise our child in a Christian home in the ways of the Lord. I especially liked the part where he asked the church to remember us in their prayers as we are raising her as well. Such a special day for our family to dedicate Caris back to God who gave her to us in the first place!
