Caris actually turned The Big One in August but I had forgotten to post some pics of her first year check up so here goes...We went in at 13 months and her stats were within the 25%-50% range for her the following:
Weight: 20.5 lbs.
Height: 29 3/4 in.
Head: 44.6 cm
Some random facts about her:
Favorite foods: cheese, strawberries, and green beans
First words: dada, mamaaaa, sa, ha (not sure what the last two sounds are)
Fave toy: anything musical
Fave book: Hush Little Baby and all Karen Katz' children's flip books
Motor skills: point, clap, wave "bye", can give kiss, knows to rub hands together when you say"wash your hands", likes to dance to praise music, gives high fives, knows how to open & close cabinet doors
Cognitive skills: knows to follow you when instructed, knows to bring objects to mommy or daddy when asked, understands words like: eat, milk, sleep, shoes, bath
Latest accomplishments: self feed with a spoon, learned NOT to throw sippy cup on the floor when done
Likes: going on walks in stroller, swimming, flipping through her alphabet flash cards, loves taking baths
Dislikes: wear anything in her hair/head, waking up from afternoon naps=Groggy Bear
We are so proud of her many accomplishments already and so much love watching her grow up if only it wasn't going by so fast. We can't even begin to fathom what she will be like as a two year old! WE ARE MADLY IN LOVE WITH YOU! ~ Mama & Dada...your biggest fans!
