Lemon tree planting

I've always wanted to plant a lemon tree in the backyard so early March we planted one. Still waiting for it to bear fruit but in the mean time hubby also got a fig tree to plant as well. Just hope it doesn't back fire on us by finding all the rotten fruits laying on the ground in the future. Just so you know If I show up at your doorstep with some lemons in hand!
