Helloooo Blogger World...it seems like forever since I've made it back here! With this crazy weather we've been having, Caris almost escaped any major sicknesses except for her first ear infection of the season. Poor thing, she's normally not a whiner so I knew something was up. We mainly have been staying indoors playing, cooking, eating, and more playing...
So this week I have started an intense bible study with a handful of ladies at church. I say bible study but it's more than that. There will be memory verses, accountability, meditating on the gospels. We are also going to be reading a book titled Crazy Love by Francis Chan. Never have heard of this pastor from California but oh my goodness, I've been floored thus far and I'm only on the first chapter! This has been such an answered prayer in so many ways. I've felt like I've been on cruise control for a while now and wanted to get into a women's fellowship of some kind. There are seasons of down time but now I'm ready get geared up for some intense time in the Word. I feel like I've been snacking here and there out of God's Word. But it's time to feast at the banquet table and I am hungry. Complacency is such a dangerous place to be! More to come on this fabulous book.

My godfather did this book and loved it! And Deceptively Delicious - great book. Haven't used it in awhile - I need to pull it out again!
